Amy is a senior Communication major with minors in Japanese Language and Peace and Justice studies from Hackettstown, New Jersey. Her interests lie in all things media related, but her passion for traveling and learning about new cultures has influenced her hopes of leaving her footprints all over the world. Amy lives her life based on the belief that you cannot unsee what you have seen. Thus, she has committed herself to advocating for the injustices she has been exposed to and to expose herself to those she has not seen. Through co-producing this documentary as part of TeaHouse Films, she hopes to expose the reality of the everyday struggles the people of Prasthantigiri face to a global audience in order to create change. If she and the rest of the TeaHouse team inspire just one person to fight for this marginalized community, she will consider the work they’ve done a success.
